- Do I need a credit card to start?
- No. The 14-day Starter trial is fully free and requires no payment information. We collect billing details only when you upgrade.
- What payment methods are supported?
- India: cards, UPI, netbanking, wallets via Razorpay. Rest of world: cards via Stripe. Nepal pays in INR (zero-rated export) via Razorpay.
- How is GST calculated?
- Indian customers pay 18% GST — IGST 18% for inter-state, or CGST 9% + SGST 9% for intra-state, based on the state code on your GSTIN. ROW customers pay no Indian GST (zero-rated export).
- Can I switch plans mid-cycle?
- Yes. Upgrades are prorated; downgrades take effect at the next billing date. Trial users can change plans freely until conversion.
- What happens when I hit a quota?
- You get a soft-cap notification at 80% and a hard-stop at 100%. Conversations remain read-only on quota exhaustion. Quotas reset at the start of each billing cycle. Token caps also apply per-day to prevent runaway costs.
- Is my data isolated?
- Yes. Cortex enforces Postgres-level Row-Level Security on every tenant table, with per-request tenant context. Your data is never co-mingled with another tenant. Full detail on the Security page.
- Do you offer a DPA?
- Yes, from Growth and above. DPDP (India) + GDPR (EU/UK) aligned. Sign at /legal/dpa or request a counter-signed PDF from legal@cortex.pleisys.com.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. Cancellation moves you to grace, then read-only, then suspended over ~60 days — your data isn't deleted unexpectedly. Account closure triggers a 30-day grace before erasure; full purge is irreversible.
- What is Flex?
